Accessibility
Last updated September 2026
Accessibility is part of premium design. We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we design our client work to the same baseline — including the requirements of Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading structure and a skip link.
- Full keyboard support with visible focus states, including the full-screen menu, filters and interactive experiments.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for text and interface elements.
- Respect for your system’s reduced motion setting: animation is minimised and animated graphics show their finished state.
- All essential content exists as real text. Visual effects rendered in canvas are decorative and hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms with visible labels, clear instructions and error messages linked to their fields.
- Layouts that adapt to 400% zoom and large text settings.
Known limitations
Some interactive graphics are inherently visual or pointer-driven (for example, the animated home page hero). Each has a text alternative or a still version, and respects reduced-motion settings. If something doesn’t work for you, we want to hear about it.
