02 Web design in Vaughan

Digital work that matches Vaughan’s ambition.

Vaughan, in York Region, has more than 323,000 residents (2021 Census) and has grown into one of the GTA’s most important business centres. The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is becoming a new downtown on the subway line; around it are large manufacturing, construction, building-supply and distribution firms, alongside established communities in Woodbridge, Maple and Kleinburg, Vaughan Mills and Canada’s Wonderland.

Many of those companies sell to other businesses and to tradespeople, often from a large product range. Their websites need to explain capabilities and products clearly, make a catalogue easy to search, and turn visits into quote requests or orders — connected to the systems the operations team already relies on. Growing firms also need a brand and website that position them for their next stage.

Whatever the business, the foundations are the same: a fast site that works on every screen, built to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility — Ontario’s AODA website requirements apply to organisations with 50 or more employees — with clear structure and structured data so search engines understand what you do and where you work. Our guide to local SEO and Google Maps explains how your website and Google Business Profile work together.

    Discover

We listen, audit and research until we understand the business, the people it serves and the real problem to solve.

  2. 02

  5. 05

    Test

Browsers, devices, keyboards, screen readers, slow networks. We look for problems so your customers don’t find them.

  6. 06

    Launch

Redirects, analytics, monitoring and a calm, rehearsed release.

  7. 07

    Evolve

Measure, learn and refine. Good digital products are never finished — they get sharper.

06 FAQ

Web design Vaughan: questions, answered.

01Do you work with businesses in Vaughan?

Yes. PerfectPixels is a Toronto design and technology studio, and we work with organisations across the GTA — including Vaughan and the rest of York Region — as well as clients further afield.

02Can our product catalogue go online?

Yes. Options range from a searchable catalogue with quote requests to a full B2B store on WooCommerce with customer accounts, customer-specific pricing and reorders, connected to your inventory or ERP where that makes sense.

03Does my Vaughan business need an accessible website?

Under Ontario’s AODA, businesses and non-profits with 50 or more employees must make their public websites meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA, with two exceptions (live captions and pre-recorded audio description). Smaller organisations aren’t covered by that rule, but an accessible site reaches more customers and is easier for everyone to use. We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA as a baseline.

04Can we redesign our website without losing our search rankings?

Yes, if the move is planned. A redesign should keep what search engines already value: every existing URL mapped to its new page with a 301 redirect, titles, descriptions and structured data carried over, and Search Console checked after launch for errors.

05Will a new website help my business show up in Vaughan searches?

It is one part of it. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence, so your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your website all contribute. A fast site with clear service pages, accurate contact details and structured data gives the rest a strong foundation.
