Privacy
Last updated October 2026
PerfectPixels (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through perfectpixels.ca, why, and the choices you have. We follow the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our project inquiry or quick-contact forms, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, company, website and project information.
- Technical information. Our hosting infrastructure processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and keep it secure.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or marketing trackers. It does not set cookies for analytics. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
If bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) is enabled on our forms, Cloudflare may process limited technical information to distinguish people from automated traffic.
Our site menu can show the current weather where you are. It does not ask for your location and does not look up your IP address: when you open the menu, your browser sends only its time zone setting (for example “America/Toronto”) to our own server. Our server uses the city name from that time zone to request the current weather from Open-Meteo, an open weather service. Your browser never contacts Open-Meteo directly. We don’t keep the time zone with any other information about you; like any page request, it may briefly appear in our hosting provider’s standard server logs (see “Technical information” above). Your browser keeps the result for up to 30 minutes in session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project.
- To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your inquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records, then delete it. We protect information with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, at any time. Contact our privacy contact at the studio (quick contact) or by email to our privacy address listed on the contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The date above shows when it was last revised.
